THE SPECIFICATION OF THE 1927 McEVOY |
The frame and engine were built in 1927. The engine of this famous McEvoy is the heralded J.A.P. KTOR/1 engine built by the London engine builder J.A Prestwich. It a is a 50-degree V Twin overhead value unit of 980 c.c. with dual float chamber binks carburettor. The bike is finished in the original McEvoy colour scheme of maroon, gold and black which were reputedly Michael McEvoy's house colours at Eton where he went to school.
